These handmade pysanka eggs are a traditional Ukrainian Easter ornament and are made from real chicken eggshells that are emptied, then intricately hand-painted using a method involving applying hot beeswax with a kistka, among other painstaking details. The results are eggs that are beautiful and - as these eggs attest - last for decades when treated with care. The three pysanka eggs pictured were made in the late 1960s! The price is for all three of the pictured eggs.
