Antique Prickly Pear Quilt: Hand-Quilted; 1920s (70x86 inches)

This is a Prickly Pear or Lily Corners Quilt, circa 1920s. It is entirely hand-quilted in outlines of the patchwork and in double lines and squares within the pieces between the prickly pears.

The back is off-white muslin, as is the very narrow binding which has been machine stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

The quilt measures 70 inches by 86 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
