Vintage 1950s Honeycomb Quilt: Hand-Stitched Polyester, 79x88

This is rare Mid-Century Modern version of a Honeycomb Quilt made of polyester and completely hand-stitched, circa 1950-1960s. Made of several thousand hexagon pieces each of which has been individually hand-quilted around its outline in very tiny stitches, this is a work of art in polyester.

The hexagons, the four-sided border and the binding are all polyester while the back is white cotton. There is no batting.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues found.

It is clean and soft, comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and measures 79 inches by 88 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
