Antique Double Nine Patch Cutter Quilt: 4-Leaf Clover Design, circa 1910-20s

This Double Nine Patch Cutter Quilt with 4-Leaf Clovers and a ribbon border, circa 1910-1920s, has been extensively hand-quilted. The quilting is in outlines of the patchwork and in four-leaf clovers.

Unfortunately, the quilt has also experienced a lot of damage over the years, including deterioration of the fabrics (see photos) and toning/tan spots.

The back is white cotton while the binding is also white cotton but has been replaced sometime in the last 50 years. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

Due to the damage described above and visible in the photos, the quilt is in poor or cutter condition.

The quilt measures 67 inches by 77 inches. It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
