Antique Basket of Flowers Quilt: Hand-Quilted Cutter Quilt, 1870s Cottagecore (84x100")

In its day this was a spectacular quilt. It still has multiple blocks of beautiful feather wreaths with concentric circles in the middle. Unfortunately the applique fabrics -- especially the reds - have deteriorated extensively and there are a couple of dark stains on the white edges of the border the that did not come out with a soak.

The back is white cotton while the binding is green and extensively fraying. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

Due to the issues described above the quilt is in fair to poor condition and would be great for a talented seamstress who wants to restore its glory or as a project/cutter quilt.

The quilt is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It is large, measuring 84 inches by 100 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
