Mosaic Antique Quilt; Circa 1940s to 50s; vintage quilt; handmade quilt; antique quilt

This Mosaic Quilt, which is from the late 1940s or early 1950s and comes from an Ohio collector, is bright and beautiful and in excellent condition with the only issue being a small tear in one of the patches - see photos.

The quilting is in the shape of four-leaf clovers and the backing material is the same as the border - a lovely soft salmon and light green print. The batting is cotton and fairly light - a summer quilt thickness.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and long and narrow - 54 inches by 87 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
