Antique Delectable Mountains Quilt: Hand-Quilted, 1890-1910 (80x81 inches)

This Delectable Mountains Quilt is a very difficult pattern due to its many points and triangles. It uses a Gerabaldi print from sometime in the late 1800s and is beautifully hand-quilted in tiny stitches in outlines of the patchwork, in diamonds and in a braided rope pattern along the four-sided border.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues found.

The quilt measures 80 inches by 81 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
