This is a patchwork Rainbow Mosaic "Land of Lincoln" Antique Quilt, circa 1940s. It has been hand stitched and hand-quilted. This quilt comes from Illinois.

The quilting has been hand-stitched through the middle and around the outlines of the square patches. The purple print border is also patchwork and the quilting again follows the outlines of the squares and goes through the middle of each square.

The back is an off-white muslin that has been turned to the front and stitched to form the binding.

The quilt is in excellent, unused condition.

It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 70 inches by 76 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
