Bouquet Antique Quilt with Sawtooth Border; circa 1930s, Vintage quilt; handmade, hand-stitched quilt; cottagecore; 72" by 86"

This is a Bouquet or Nosegay Quilt with Sawtooth Border, circa 1930s, but I call it the ice cream cone quilt because, well they kind of look like ice cream cones don't they?

The quilting in this lovely quilt is whimsical as well, in crested waves, unique geometric patterns and outlines of the patchwork.

The back is bright white cotton and the Sawtooth Border goes around all four sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with some age-related yellowing of the white cotton and one tiny, 1/16 inch hole near the sawtooth border that is only in the top fabric and does not go through to the back.

It is approximately 72 inches by 86 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
