More than 1,000 hexagons make up this Chevron Quilt which is circa 1910-1920s, which has been quilted in double outlines of each hexagon. The top and bottom are straight across while the sides are scalloped.
The back is an off-white/tannish cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with some minor color transfer from some of the yellow fabrics.
This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 60 inches by 78 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
