Vintage Crazy Quilt, 1940s; 45x66 inches

This is a lovely 1940s Crazy Quilt made of satins and sateens. All of the patchwork pieces have been hand-embroidered.

The back is a geometric purple, black, yellow and pink satin, while the binding is a lavender/purple cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides.

It is in excellent vintage condition with some brown spots on the back that do not show or effect the front.

The quilt measures 45 inches by 66 inches. It comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and is shown on a queen-size bed.
