Old Fashioned Rose Quilt TOP only: Handmade; 1880s, 62" x 64"

This Old Fashioned Rose Quilt TOP only is from the 1880s and has been hand-appliqued in teeny-tiny stitches. See photos.

The quilt top is in excellent antique condition, but needs to be soaked to remove some age-related tan spots and water marks. If it was a finished quilt I would soak it -- but I've learned from quilters that many prefer to soak after quilting... Since it is a quilt top only, of course it needs batting and to be finished/quilted.

It comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home and measures 62 inches by 64 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
