Rare Baltimore Daisy Variation Quilt with elaborate berry vine border, circa 1900-1910. Entirely hand stitched and hand quilted. The hand stitching is particularly noticeable on the gold/tan appliques where the quilter used darker colored threads. This quilt comes from a Maryland collector.

Quilting is very fine in a diagonal pattern throughout. All cotton with thin, cotton batting and a narrow, red binding. The back is white muslin.

Excellent condition with some light fading of red fabric in a few locations.

It is approximately 72 inches by 74 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
