Double Wedding Ring Antique Quilt, circa 1910-1920s, handmade quilt, hand quilted; vintage quilt; cottagecore

This Double Wedding Ring Antique Quilt is circa 1910-1920s and is offset by its secondary pattern of a blue and yellow four-patch at every intersection of the rings. The white patches between the rings are quilted in a unique geometric pattern while the rest of quilting is in meticulous outlines of the patchwork.

The back is a Robin's egg blue cotton and rather than binding, the quilter has hand-stitched the front directly to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with the only condition issue being several tiny tan marks on the front (see photos) that appear to be caused by the cotton oil in the old cotton batting.

The quilt is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 70 inches by 82 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
