Flying Clouds Vintage Quilt; circa 1930s-1940s, antique quilt; hand-quilted; cottagecore; Kentucky origin; 66 inches by 80 inches

This is a Flying Clouds Quilt, circa 1930s-1940s. Kentucky origin. The quilter pieced this quilt together from more than 1500 1-inch squares and tiny triangles. The one-inch squares are outline-quilted, while the center black squares are hand-quilted in concentric squares. See photos.

The back is a white cotton while the narrow binding is black cotton The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent, never used condition.

The quilt measures 66 inches by 80 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
