This beautiful pastel Streak o' Lightning Quilt is circa 1930s-1940s and is made in the same mosaic as a Trip Around the World quilt but, unlike Trip Around the World, this quilt is made with rectangles, not squares. It is hand-quilted in steps along the lines of the rectangles (see photos) and -- given the sheer size of this quilt -- that was no easy task.
The back is bright pink cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 84 inches by 101 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
