Vintage Amish Center Diamond Quilt, handmade; hand quilted; circa 1940s; 65" x 85"

This Center Diamond Amish Quilt comes from Pennsylvania, circa 1940s, and is entirely hand-stitched and hand-quilted. The hand quilting is in black thread and is done in patterns of diamonds, flowers, bows, twisted rope, and a feather wreath in the middle diamond.

The back is a purple cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 65 inches by 85 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
