Broken Saw Antique Quilt; Circa 1940s; vintage quilt; handmade quilt; antique quilt; hand-quilted

This amazing lavender and white quilt appears to be a combination of patterns, including Broken Saw, Flo's Fan, and Rainbow, and on the order of the NY Beauty Quilt/Crown of Thorns in terms of difficulty. While the entire quilt and especially its exquisite quilting is a masterpiece, the loops at the corners and the elaborate border make this quilt truly one-of-a-kind and worthy of the most discerning collector.

It was made in the mid-to-late 1940s and comes from a collector in the Hudson Valley/Ichabod Crane area of New York.

The quilt is in unused/outstanding condition. No condition issues are noted.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 75 inches by 96 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen bed.
