Antique Diamonds and Squares Quilt: 1910-1930 (64x76")

This Diamonds and Squares Quilt is circa 1900-1910 has been meticulously hand-quilted in double diagonals with tiny stitches. There are more than 1,000 diamonds and 1,000 squares, many (and perhaps all) of which have been hand-stitched together.

The back is an off-white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with some age-related yellowing of the off-white fabrics.

The quilt measures 64 inches by 76 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
