Tree of Life or Paradise Tree Antique Quilt; circa 1910-1920, Vintage quilt; handmade, hand-stitched quilt

This Tree of Life Quilt is circa 1910-1920 and is a beautiful example of this rarely seen pattern. It has been finely executed here with patchwork that is sharp and precise with the points on the triangles that make up the tree lining up perfectly.

The quilting is also very fine and varied, from flowers to fine wreaths in the white spaces and diagonals along the borders. It is all cotton with lightweight cotton batting and a narrow, coral binding. The back is white cotton.

It is in excellent condition with two tiny discolorations as shown in the photos.

It is approximately 66 inches by 83 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
