Variable Star Antique Quilt, circa 1880s-1890s, handmade quilt, hand quilted; vintage quilt; cottagecore

This Variable Star Antique Quilt is circa 1880s-1890s and is hand-quilted around the patchwork and in flowers in the patches between the stars. Around the border it is quilted in fans and angels.

The back is a beautiful cotton yellow calico and there is solid yellow cotton along the back border, which has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent, unused condition with no condition issues noted.

It is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It is a square quilt, measuring 76 inches by 76 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
