Double Wedding Ring Antique Quilt, circa 1940s, handmade summer quilt, hand quilted; vintage quilt; summer quilt; 87" x 102"; cottagecore

This Double Wedding Ring Antique Quilt, circa 1940s, is a very large summer quilt with a scalloped border on all four sides. It has no batting and is lightly quilted in the centers of the rings as well as along the outlines of the rings.

The back is bright, white cotton and the binding, which is hand-stitched to the back, is the same lavender cotton as the border. There is no batting in this quilt.

The quilt is in very good condition with some fading of the lavender patches (see photos) and an old, one-inch repair on the front to one of the green patches. Someone has also made tiny marks with a pen on the back cotton fabric at the "corners" of the quilt, but those marks cannot be seen and do not impact the front.

The quilt is clean, soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 87 inches by 102 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
