Antique "Conventional Wild Rose" Quilt with Hand-Stitched Floral Border, 1920s Vintage

This Conventional Wild Rose Quilt with serpentine border is circa 1920s. It has been exquisitely hand-quilted in feathers, feather wreaths, diagonals and very tiny diamond patterns.

The back is white cotton while the binding is pink cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with one spot of pink color transfer near one of the roses, a tiny tan spot and some beginning fraying of the binding. See photos.

It measures 75 inches by 95 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
