Antique Roses Are Red Quilt: Hand-Stitched Vintage Quilt (74x78 inches) circa 1910-20s

This is a Roses are Red Quilt, circa 1910-1920s. The applique roses have been machine stitched to the top while the quilting is all by hand. The quilting is in outlines of the applique and the patchwork in tiny, precise stitches.

The back is a lovely mercerized tan and red cotton print with a glazed look, while the cotton batting is light-to-medium weight.

The quilt is in excellent antique condition with several tiny tan dots about the size of the tip of a pen and a binding that is fraying on all four sides.

It is approximately 74 inches by 78 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
