This Conventional Wild Rose Quilt with serpentine border is dated 1930 (see photos) and has been exquisitely hand-quilted in feathers, feather wreaths, diagonals and very tiny diamond patterns.
The back is white cotton while the binding is a bright pink cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched in very tiny stitches to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.
It measures 76 inches by 88 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
