Vintage Tulip Quilt; signed and dated 1983, 61"x84"

This Tulip Quilt has been signed and dated April 1983 and is made of cotton with polyester tulips that have been hand-appliqued and hand-embroidered. The quilting is also by hand and is in swirls along the top and bottom borders, in outlines of the applique squares and in straight lines all around the edging. The top border has also been embroidered with birds, butterflies and flowers.

The back is pink cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The batting is very lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It is approximately 61 inches by 84 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
