Antique Touching Star Quilt: 1910-1920s, Hand-Stitched Cottagecore Bedding (64x79")

This is a very old Touching Stars Quilt, circa 1910-1920s, and has been hand-stitched and hand-quilted. The quilting is in outlines of the patchwork and in diagonals. There is a colorful green-print border along the top and bottom that has been quilted in large diamonds.

The back is gauzy muslin that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is medium weight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with some color transfer around one of the black stars, with that color transfer showing on the back behind that star as well.

The quilt measures 64 inches by 79 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
