This Wholecloth Quilt, circa 1930s, is interchangeable between the blue and the white sides. The quilting threads are red, yellow, dark blue, green, cheddar/orange, brown and pink and all of them highlight the quilt patterns on both sides of the quilt. The hand quilting is in feathers, feather wreaths, flowers, modified feather/star wreaths, and a geometric cross-and-circle pattern along the borders.
The binding is pink cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.
The quilt is in excellent condition with some fraying of the binding.
The quilt measures 77 by 80 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
