Nine Patch Vintage Quilt; circa 1991, Vintage quilt; handmade, hand-stitched quilt; signed and dated

It is not often that you find a quilt from the 1990s that has been hand-quilted, but this Nine Patch Quilt is one. It has also been beautifully pieced with fabric choices that give the quilt the look of a shifting mosaic.

As can be seen in the photos, the quilting is intricate and ranges from a beautiful braided rope along the border to flowers in the patches between the nine-patches, to quilted outlines of the patchwork. It is signed "Judy H" and dated 1991.

The back is a light yellow that is so light it appears white in the photos and the binding is a navy blue cotton that has been hand stitched to the back. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with two or three very tiny tan dots that are so small they are difficult to photograph.

It is approximately 82 inches by 86 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-sized bed.
