Rose of Sharon Antique Quilt with serpentine floral border, circa 1900-1910, Vintage quilt; handmade, hand-stitched quilt

This is a Rose of Sharon Quilt, circa 1900-1910, with intricate hand quilting and exquisite applique work, also in impossibly tiny hand stitching. See photos.

The quilting is in flowers, diagonals and feather patterns. The coral, green and yellow serpentine floral border is on all four sides of the quilt.

The back is white cotton that has been turned to the front and attached in tiny stitches to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

Excellent condition with two very small tan dots near the binding. See photos.

It is long and narrow, measuring approximately 63 inches by 90 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
