Sunburst Star Antique Quilt, circa 1910-1920s, handmade quilt, hand quilted; antique quilt; cottagecore; 68" by 75"

This Sunburst Star Antique Quilt is circa 1910-1920s and incorporates all of the right elements of a Sunburst Star quilt by progressing from light fabrics in the center to darker to light and back to darker again. The hand-quilting is dense and unique, with concentric circles through the diamonds that make up the Star and interlocking circles with very densely quilted centers in each of the white corners. The rest of the quilting in the body is in diamonds, with a rope pattern along the red border and diagonals through the white border.

The back is an off-white muslin that has been turned to the front and machine-stitched. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It is clean and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 68 inches by 75 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
