Virginia Rose Antique Quilt with serpentine floral border; circa 1910-1920, Vintage quilt; handmade, hand-stitched quilt, measures 78" x 94"

The applique work and quilting on this Virginia Rose Antique Quilt have been beautifully stitched. The quilt is circa 1910-1920 and has quilting in feather and partial wreath patterns as well as in diamonds and in outlines of the roses and the elaborate floral vine border.

The back is white cotton as is the narrow binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with a tiny, less than 1/8 inch in circumference, bit of fabric loss on one of the pink "rose buds" on the floral vine and some fraying of the binding.

It is approximately 78 inches by 94 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
