This Diamond Field Quilt is circa 1920s-1930s and has about 2,000 octagons, each of which has been hand-quilted. This pattern looks a lot like Grandmother's Flower Garden, but is much more rare.

The back is a white cotton, while the binding fabric matches the green octagons and has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with one small tan mark the size of the tip of a pen on one white block.

This lovely quilt is clean and soft and measures 72 inches by 79 inches. From a smoke-free, pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
