Vintage Wreath of Flowers Quilt with Swag Border: Intricate Quilting (74x82 inches, 1959)

This is a Wreath of Flowers Quilt with Unique Swag Border, signed and dated October 24, 1959. The quilt has been finely hand-quilted in feather wreaths, diagonals, hearts and in outlines of the applique, all of which is also entirely hand-stitched.

The back is white cotton and the binding is a green cotton that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The cotton batting is very lightweight.

This beautiful quilt is in excellent condition with no condition issues noted.

It is clean, very soft and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It measures 74 inches by 82 inches. Shown on a queen-size bed.
