Vintage Touching Star Quilt: dated 1935, Hand-Stitched (70"x84")

This Touching Stars Quilt is dated 1935 (see photos) and has been hand-stitched and hand-quilted. The hand quilting is in tiny stitches in outlines of the patchwork, in stars, geometric designs, spider webs, tiny diamonds and in pyramids along the four-sided border.

The back is off-white cotton that has been turned to the front and hand-stitched to form the binding. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent, unused condition with the original pencil lines for quilting still showing. No condition issues noted.

The quilt measures 70 inches by 84 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Shown on a queen-size bed.
