Vintage Tulip Quilt, 1950s, hand-quilted; 80" by 92"

This is a Tulip Quilt from a 1950s Paragon Quilt Kit. It has been hand-stitched and hand-quilted in a twisted rope pattern along the four-sided white and blue border and in flower motifs and outlines of the hand-applique work in the rest of the quilt.

The back is white cotton, as is the binding that has been machine stitched to the front and hand-stitched to the back. The batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with some dark discolorations on one corner (see photos).

The quilt is approximately 80 inches by 92 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
