Antique Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt: 1920-1930s; Hand-Quilted Heirloom (76"x88")

This Grandmother's Flower Garden Antique Quilt is circa 1920-1930s and has been hand-stitched and hand-quilted. It is made up of more than 4,000 hexagons that have been hand-stitched and then quilted in concentric circles and diagonal lines through the "flower gardens".

The back is a white cotton while the binding is yellow cotton that has been hand-stitched to both sides. The cotton batting is lightweight.

The quilt is in excellent condition with a fraying binding and some fabric loss (see last photo).

It is approximately 76 inches by 88 inches and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Pictured on a queen-size bed.
